Distillation Receiver for oils lighter than water

For determination of volatile oil.
The Clevenger type receiver trap included in this apparatus is for use when the oils are lighter than water
The condenser rests on top of the receiver
There is a discharge stopcock below the return tube
Flask and receiver are connected by a Standard Taper 24/40 joint

Made of borosilicate glass, the complete apparatus includes a 1000mL round bottom flask, a finger type condenser, and a trap/receiver.

The receiver, graduated to 5mL with 0.1mL increments, has a tube connecting the lower part below the scale with the top of the vapor tube to return excess water to the flask.
